Q. I feel quite sad and needy today, and I have this feeling located in my upper abdomen/heart centre. Is this normal to feel after my emotional release yesterday?

A. It is quite normal (and natural) to feel pain, tension, or tiredness after a big emotional release. Sometimes our bodies have held onto past pain for so long, that the release itself causes pain.

Just breathe into the pain and allow yourself to feel it. Allow all pain to be felt in whatever way it presents itself to you - emotional or physical.

Allowing pain to be there - without rationalising with the mind why it is there - is the key to letting it go completely. Feel it to heal it.
